La Niña, a solo project by Carola Moccia, a singer-songwriter and producer born in 1991, committed to the dialogue between tradition and the music of the present. Between experimentation and hybridization – using the extremely evocative and powerful language of her city, Naples, as a medium – her research ranges from singing to writing, from theater to cinema, from dance to the figurative arts. At Medimex he presents the successful album FURÈSTA, a choral project that has its roots in the tradition of Neapolitan popular music, offering a vision that mixes innovation and heritage.

La Niña, Bab L’Bluz and Magalí Datzira are the three artists chosen by Antonio Diodato for Le strade del Mediterraneo, the special project created for Medimex. Three extraordinary female voices, interpreters of the sound and cultural atmospheres of the Mediterranean area, to explore the theme of the Road, which this year is the thematic thread of Medimex, through the perspective and identity of the sea. The sea as the main centuries-old connection between peoples, cultures and music of the world, with Taranto as a safe and regenerating port of call.
